Happy Juneteenth! Today marks the oldest national celebration marking the end of slavery in the United States. Whether you’re honoring Black history, celebrating Black culture, or supporting Black-owned businesses, we hope you use this time to learn and uplift the Black community.

We’re so inspired by leaders in tech who are using STEM to do just that and more. Check out these incredible Black women in tech:

Mandy Bowman created the Black Wall Street App, an app that connects users with Black-owned businesses using AI and geolocation technology. Her app has helped circulate over $10 million in sales and business services into Black-owned businesses

Pariss Chandler is the Founder and CEO of Black Tech Pipeline and creator of the popular hashtag #BlackTechTwitter. Her platform helps change the face of tech by offering job opportunities, educational resources, and more for Black technologists.

After pivoting into the tech field, Ashley Loveless created ChewTyme. This food delivery app is similar to Uber Eats but only uses Black-owned restaurants and businesses.

This Juneteenth, how are you using your voice or platform to uplift Black voices? Let us know how you plan to celebrate in the comments below.
